Requirements Needed for Candidates:
o Must be 18 + years of age
o Candidates must have the ability to independently supervise up to 15 children at one time.
o Don’t need to have for interview but must have by start date
§ CPR and First Aid Certification
§ Complete and pass a Vulnerable Police Check
§ Have Updated Vaccine Records **Note** currently the YMCA does not require the Covid-19 Vaccines as a pre-requirement in the Vaccine Update.
o Candidates must have a resume and a completed form that will be sent by YMCA Childcare for References completed for interview. References can be professional, paid experience and or volunteer experience. However, one of the references has to be from a person in a supervisory position that can talk about candidate traits etc.

Opportunities Available:
o Split Shift Salaried- (work every day Monday to Friday from 7 -9am and 2:30-6pm approx).
o Part-Time Hourly- (work every day Monday to Friday 2:30 pm-6 pm approx).
o Student Summer Job - Youth 18-30 (Monday to Friday commitment and available to work from 7 am – 6 pm. Hours to be determined).
o Supply – must have availability to work three days per week Monday to Friday from 2-6pm

Earn volunteer hours at the library! We are looking for enthusiastic youth in grades 7-12 to join our new Teen Advisory Groups (TAG). TAG members will have a say in library programs and services for teens, assist with children's programs, learn leadership skills, and more!
Students who attend TAG meetings will receive additional volunteer opportunities throughout the year!
