This event is offered in partnership with The Municipality of Clarington and The Clarington Public Library, in recognition of Black History Month.

We are focusing on Healthcare and Mental well-being; looking at systems, barriers, policies and how we can move forward as a community through Expert Speakers:

• Tanis Henry, Registered Nurse
• Dr. Jean Henry, Psychotherapist
• Nicole Perryman, Social Worker

The event will include Community Dialogue; Networking; Breakout Session; Entertainment; a Healing Activity with Tessa Sebro; Yoga & Pilates Specialist; and our Award Presentation recognizing leadership in Black Excellence & Allyship right here in Durham Region. A modernized approach to recognizing Black History Month, engaging the community, and addressing systemic barriers.
